Paua is New Zealand's native abalone shell. The shell contains beautiful irridescent shades of blue, green, pink and purple. Every shell is unique.

This necklace is in the shape of the Maori Koru, with more Koru incorporated in the design. The Koru represents the unfurling new fern shoot. Spiritually, the design signifies peace, tranquility, positive change, and new beginnings.

The Koru is approximately 2.5cm (1") long and hangs from a 45cm (17 3/4") silver chain.
