Red Short Korowai for Child

This Red Short Korowai has been made for a child measuring 73cm around their shoulders to centre front, to wear for their graduation from primary school.  It measures approximately 70cm wide.

The feathers are predominantly Red, and the korowai ties at the front with a black cord.

Perfect for christenings, birthdays, and other special occasions.

We can also make other sizes, so have included pricing for smaller children, and can give you a price for older children too.  Just email us with their measurement (run the tape measure around the top of their shoulders and bring it to centre front, then give us that measurement) and we can quote you a price.

And we can make other colours - choose your feathers here, and your taniko here.  The taniko used is in a patiki design.

The korowai, or kahu huruhuru (feather cloak) as it should really be referred to, is proudly made by a Maori woman of Ngati Porou descent.  She learned the skill from her mother, who was taught by a Northland kuia.

Proudly made in New Zealand, and shipped worldwide.
