In February 2022, New Zealand's Whittakers Chocolate company released Blondie, a new caramelised white chocolate block.  New because it is made authentically, by heating the ingredients to a high temperature for just the right length of time, to make a caramelised white chocolate without any colour or flavour additives.  Perfect, naturally made, caramelised white chocolate.

The name "Blondie" is a nod to the toasted white chocolate brownie, intended as a bit o fun.

As per usual with Whittakers, the chocolate has a silky smooth texture and a rich flavour. Great for eating on its own, or using in baking and desserts.
